Magnificent vectors

Like the rat who lives
  for a hundred years    reason
      unfolds
                        as echo-sensing echo
         stretched between rare skins 

    we are a story of ascension
to be told on hanging things.


Nic Stringer was highly commended in the Forward Prizes 2018 for her first collection A day that you happen to know, published by Guillemot Press. Poetry, art and film have been reproduced in anthologies and journals including The Forward Book of Poetry 2019 and the forthcoming Valley Press Anthology of Prose Poetry, Magma, Structo, Eborakon and online @Arsonista.  Nic is a member of the sound collective Fractured Strings and manages events as Corrupted Poetry; Beyond Imitation a collaboration with The National Poetry Library will be produced in 2019.
