I was thinking about goodbyes and how difficult they can be. How not saying goodbye creates a sort of time capsule, a place of the past that you take with you into the future. It reminded me of the row of kilner jars in my kitchen, full of nuts and seeds and grains, or the pickles and jams in the cupboard. What if I joined them...?
