        pulpy red night

    fevered hum of a road
a network of roads
        lapsed time light filaments 
        flickering synapses

            or

    soft skull
holding wetly
hard weird intersections

spiny night
bristling in my skin

even the orchestra is smoothed out
    by my tinnitus

one

there are probable responses to the given circumstances
which are calculable 
            with time and patience
probable scenarios
        observed up close
        fixed in your gaze

                 or

        liquid skull
    because all solids have a melting point
cream dripping pooling
                        about frozen cells

    or

            skull shaped cloud
                 of
                  probability
